I don’t want to come off negative cause I really think this is a nice campground. The people here are the nicest you will find anywhere. The lady that greeted us was happy to meet us. The gentleman who helped us to our site was even willing to cut down trees for us. I do, however, need to state the follow about this campground: Our RV almost ended up in the Tennessee River. We joined Jeff and Linda today to take a leisurely trip down the Rifle River. The water level was down a little bit compared to the last time we we on it. This made for a little bit of scraping and some hard paddling at times. About midway through the trip we encountered a young deer along side of the river. Campers are typically very friendly, polite and love to help out. These are the kind of people you love to have around you as you camp. In fact this is very characteristic of most campers anywhere we have been.
