On the surface, Soaring Eagle Hideaway RV Park looks like a real winner. It has paved sites, full hookups and even a shuttle service to the casino. However, if you stay here for any length of time, you will discover the flaws.
While we were here we experienced low voltage drops, extremely high water pressure, and very un-level site pads. This all came at a price that was somewhat higher than average, especially for a casino.
The park has very poor landscape maintenance. I saw several people mowing their own lawns. In fact, our neighbor informed us that the only time he saw the campground clean and tidy was just prior to the arrival of the people from the Good Sam Club. The parks get an advance warning so they know when to get ready for Good Sam to inspect the place. This is when they get their rating.
The RV Park fee does include entrance to the Hotel Pool and Hot Tub. You will have the pool pretty much to yourself since everyone else utilizes the Hotel’s enormous Waterpark.
When we were staying back in Frankenmuth we kept saying how we would love to return to the town later just to enjoy all the things the place had to offer. We can’t say that about this area. Mt. Pleasant didn’t really have anything to draw us back here.
