RV Tips and Articles by T. R. Enright
Big Ol Bugsmacker

Sit back and let us tell you the story of our Big Ol' Bug Smacker

Our Story

Let us introduce ourselves. We are a couple of RV fanatics. We love everything about being a RV owner. We enjoy the flexibility and freedom of being ready to go anywhere at any time.

We are both working professionals with full time careers. Our home is in Michigan. This is a great state to explore. This works out nice for us right now, since we are both employed locally and can only travel as far as our vacation time will allow. We try to get in at least a couple of 1 or 2 week long trips a year. You will, however, find us somewhere on the road almost every weekend. We are both dreaming of the time where we can spend much more time RVing.

We enjoy the great outdoors. Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, biking and just plain romping around in the woods are some of the things we like to do most. We also love to travel. We look forward to being behind the wheel of our rig as much as sitting on a stump with a fishing pole.

We also have a passion for photography. You can find samples of our artistic work in the Photo Gallery. Hopefully you will take the opportunity to browse through our collection. All of the work displayed in our gallery is available for purchase. Please contact us if you are interested  in obtaining any of these fine quality photos for you own personal pleasure.

We have two sons. Both of them are in college now, which allows us a little more freedom to travel. They love the outdoors as much as we do. We try to get together as much as our schedules will allow us.

One of our favorite parts of RVing is all the interesting people we meet. Everyone has a story to tell and we enjoy listening to all of them.

Our Adventures

We travel as much as our schedules will allow. We like to get out on the open road and explore new places. Every weekend is a new adventure. We are on the road spring thru fall and a little in the winter. It is never fun seeing your trailer start to pass along side of you on an icy road, so we tend to stay home in the winter months. The rest of the year we get away as much as possible. The weather is not as much a factor as our jobs. We both have fulltime careers that do not allow us to get away for too long at a time.

We have done almost every type of camping from full hookup RV sites with cable and internet to sleeping in a bag under the stars. We enjoyed it all. Prior to RVing we were tent campers. Tent camping is fine, but we wanted a little more flexibility. With an RV the tent is always pitched and the gear is always stowed. Traveling with an RV allows us the freedom to do more than we have ever done in the past.

One day you may find us at a state park or campground. The next day you could find us out in the middle of a forest next to a lake or river. Other times we may be on the road traveling from place to place discovering new adventures. Whatever the case may be, RVing has become a huge part of our lives. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about going someplace new. You can read about our adventures in our Blog. As you can see,  why we got bit pretty hard by the RV bug.

My wife and I spend a lot of time researching and discovering information related to the RV industry. We meet quite a few people who have many years of experience involved with the RV business. We enjoy sharing this knowledge with others in an effort to make RVing more enjoyable. We would be pleased if you would take some time and look over our information and RV Artilces.

You can see how much the RV industry has impacted our lives. That is why we put together this website. We want to share our experiences and adventures with everyone. Hopefully you will enjoy what it has to offer.

Hope to meet you on the road someday soon.
